What mod do you find the best ?

What do you find there best mod ?

Third Age is still a work in progress, many fixes and additions will still be made. So I guess overall Stainless Steel is the best.

is this really a fair poll, since it seems to me it is somewhat hard to compare a fantasy (yes lotr is fantasy

) mod to a historical mod such as Stainless Steel

TATW has just been released + This is TATW subforum, so obviously It's way ahead. It's like asking the question "do you like me?" to your friends in facebook. Of course they do!

That doesn't mean I don't like TATW, I really enjoy it, but the others are very good too (at least BC and SS) and at the same level or even more developed. So IMO this poll means absolutely nothing and has no value at all.

The first mod I played was SS back in 4.2 phase, the first mod that impressed me was BC, the second mod that impressed me is TATW, the third mod that will impress me will be DOTS.

As for the poll, it's too biased ... you would have to list every major mod and even then it's not appriopriate place for this. As such, I don't give you any vote.

TATW is still work in progress, so i wont count it in.

SS is a great mod, but Broken Crescent is just better, more detailed, more balanced, more finished and overall a more complete product. I would very much like to see that approach with TATW.

Every mod has some good aspects, I wouldn't say anyone is better than the others. I played SS and had a lot of fun, later with RR and 1450 submods.
DLV has the best realism and the best buildup. Das Heilige Römische Reich is the best simulation of the struggle in the HRE, I haven't played the other mods.
Then when I was sick of western europe and I played BC. And now I'm sick of the historical world and I play Third Age
