Launcher problems

I'm having launcher problems on a mod called Chivalry II Sicilian Vespers. I have installed the mod with my anti virus turned off, the patch, the hot fix, and the false positive virus fix for the launcher. I have turned on all administrative rights, i have all hidden files shown. But i am still getting this.....


The heading in the blue reads

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SicilianVespers\Launch_SicilianVespers.exe

and then...

Windows can not access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

I'm completely confused by this. I have referred to this forum to turn all my permissions on and i still cannot access the mod. The launcher fails to activate. and i have attempted to run as administrator many times only to fail.

I will + rep anybody that helps me get this darn thing to work right again.

You have the full path staring at you. Look in the Sicilian Vespers folder and make sure the Launch_SicilianVespers.exe exists and see if you have full admin rights to it.

If that part is good, see if you can open the .exe in Notepad and see what .cfg file it points to.

After that report this to their bug tread.
