School shooting Psych questions

This always confused me. They always said ,for example, Eric Harris I believe, was a Psycopath. Klebold was an Sociopath. But at VT Tech.... The shooter was "both".....


I mean, why are not say they were nuts?



But seriously, how do they actually determine this... since after all, the shooters are..... "deceased".
