ROME SURRECTUM II
A question that created greatness
It all started as a simple question on a forum for Rome Total War, a question if anyone was interested in playing a mod that included 35 legions, each with its own distinct shields and badges from the Roman Empires beloved armies.
He managed to upload a couple of pictures where these were presented after some help. Many of the fortunate ones who saw them had a jawdrop

. The dream to play with the Roman Empires pride in your own reins had finally come true.
He did not believe that the projects he had worked on for himself would lead to a mod that brought together people from all over the world, everyone's dream to restore the Roman empire and its greatness days.
One of those who visited the tread was Tony. "This one looks great - potentially a fantastic mod. Can not wait to play. I agree, just upload it somewhere and you'll be getting loads of feedback." Was his first comment. While cherryfunk made sure to speak up and answered Daniel when he expressed himself amazed at the attention his project received. "I can explain that - it's taken years and we're finally getting really fantastic mods for RTW / BI. Also, we assume that vanilla MTW2 is going to have some retarded problems and after we've played it for a week we're going to start thinking about mods for it. But those mods are a long ways off, so we need to play some RTW mods in the meantime! "
Both came quickly to help with the mod and where just as Daniel ordinary people who above everything else loved history.
Tone had been looking at this quite separate forum on the lookout for another mod, Napoleonic Total War 2. Interest in Rome rose and he decided to help Daniel with Roma Surrectum. According to Tony himself, he had no knowledge when it came to modeling and 2d art but after months out of training (self-taught) improved his knowledge of the subject and today he is recognized as one if not the absolute best moduller / skins maker in the Total War community.
On December 24, 2008 was released as Roma Surrectum 1.5, an achievement beyond the ordinary.
For many it was a magical day, I remember how I tremble sat there, waiting for that Daniel's would sign in and announce that now, now was Roma Surrectum available for download. Lots of news was introduced and I was more than saved, these people were more or less gods to me, large and unattainable.
After contacting Daniel and sent him a track I composed, I was accepted, consecrated in the inner circle as a member out of Roma Surrectum, a group that now had put Roma Surrectum 1.5 behind them, the only thing that matters was it's sequel, Roma Surrectum II. I was now fixed, fixed forever.
RS II
What is the objective of the Roma Surrectum II? To surpass its predecessor are obvious, but it is about so much more. A goal that we sought is that the game will be so historically accurate manner that can be used as a means within the school.
When you start the game and have chosen your faction, so should the situation be so historically accurate as it possibly can be without thumb on playability.
After that you will decide the outcome, will Rome flourish or perish, will Sparta be able to return to their former glory days? It is you as a player who has the power over this, something we are very hard at.
Another goal is to add knowledge and joy to the player at the same time.
