Default Very slow in turns...why is this?

Hi new to the modding world of total war, and I'm a bit blown away by it! I know I will spend hours/days studying the tutorials and might even attempt a modification my self.I downloaded the Sicilian Vespers, fantastic mod I have to say, however the turns are really slow. It takes ages to go through the factions. I compare with the standard Medieval II grand campaign, and everything is a little more snappy and the turns are quick in comparisons.I dont know why there is such a big difference in performance between the two versions of the game..

yea this is a "slower" mod. This is a more Role playing mod than a quick blow through the game glory mod like your used to. It's a lot of fun with a small learning curve hope you enjoy.

Welcome. You can disable the AI turn display in the campaign menu, and then you'll experience a quite fast turn-change.

I dont know why there is such a big difference in performance between the two versions of the game.
The AI "thinks" more as in vanilla and because we have some heavy scripting.

Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.
