G'Day,

I'm a Empire Total War refugee. Having bought it on day one and finding it unplayable I tried Darth Mod's but there is so many changes it is hard to get a game finished. So I came here to look for a mod for good old trusty Rome. I have downloaded and it is ready for my first campaign. I thought I would just let you know of my appreciation of your hard work and great product. I'm certain I'll have hundreds on hours playing your mod.

yeah,now i got the hang of it a bit,it is definately THE mod to be playing if you need a good challenge.
my war in the west with gaul took a turn with greeks making sneaky attacks on the italian mainland,
i quickly whipped up an invasion fleet and destroyed all the greek infrastructure on thier west coast,
hampering their ability to make war,effectively making use of mercenaries and injecting tens of thousands of dinari into my building
programme ,i am totally addicted,and it looks stunning

I tried numerous times trying to get RS to work with no success, but only took one attempt to get SPQR working correctly the first time. Good stuff.

indeed, SPQR has a well deserved reputation in two areas - stability and difficulty

if you think the start is easy, you wait....SPQR really is not a mod that rewards mistakes and that is one of the things i love the most

I always preferred RTR-P or XGM but for a guy who hates Romans... this has to be my favourite Roman mod lol. I enjoyed defeating Hannibal... I felt superior to previous Roman Generals
