... no offense but these portraits are incredibly mismatched and look pretty odd...

I'm downloading now and I'll give them a go in my next game. Its a bit weird portraits of a helmet clad commander (vanilla M2TW included), kinda like a cheap hollywood comedy movie where the commander is actually the princess and after she has won the battle she takes off the helmet to reveal to all that it was not a man who beat the French but a woman! And they will all respect that, and the awkward gay jokes throughout the movie because the commander seemed to have the hots for the dashing prince disappear and the prince and unrelated princess get married and live happily ever after. It will star Cameron Diaz as the princess, Owen Wilson as the prince and Adam Sandler as the comic relief crossbowman. There will be a scene where Adam Sandler shoots a bolt up his own bottom and has the big "O" expression on his face.

I tried out this mod last night, my opinion is:

The good: There are lots of pics and as somebody sick of the same old faces its nice to get alot of new ones. The pictures I saw were all nice quality.

The bad: I found the use of people with helmets on a bit weird. For example some people in the family tree have a face and others don't. The ones that don't leave me thinking "Who is this guy?". Also ones with helmets can be administratively minded and look out of place dressed for war.

The ugly: No ugly here, the pics are good quality.

Overall: Its good and I will continue to use it, cheers for improving my experience. I'd give you rep but you have it disabled.

The mod is good, I recommend it to others to use because it does add freash air to a stale part of the game, that is seeing the same old faces. And the pictures are good quality.

Sorry the version 5.0 have one bug. Dont see die all generals.
Solution:

copy all .tga from
\MODS\SS6.3\data\ui\eastern_european\portraits\portraits\dead\generals
to
\MODS\SS6.3\data\ui\eastern_european\portraits\portraits\dead

and the next folders same work:
eastern_european
middle_eastern
northern_european
northern_european

The next version 5.1 is ok all.

Hey, very nice work! This brings a new feeling to the game indeed.

1) Started new Late campaign as HRE and one of my generals has William Wallace portrait oO

2) Some of my family members have portraits which fit more to musicians or tradesmen than to army generals and knights :/

3) In the ui/northern_european/portraits/family male image is named daughter and female image is named son. It should be vice versa
4) For example, if I don't like some portraits, can I simply delete them from the folders, or it will cause crash?

If you delete one portraits, no chash the game (only dont see these portrait), but if you delete de folder of portraits Yes, chash de game. All foldes portraits are necesary in the game.
