Default Large Walls and Larger Gauls!

    Hey all,

I looked around the forum a bit to se if I could find anything of this, but didn't have any luck (maybe I didn't look hard enough) but I noticed that the gallic faction generally have better developed cities than Rome early on in the game. Now...quote me wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the tribes in Gaul didn't have huge stone walls lol.

Is there anyway that I can mod this option out of the Gallic faction so that they can't have these larger stone walls, just the wooden ones?

Now I'm not sure if these walls are there from the launch of a new campaign or the gauls build them, but either way, I don't think I want to keep seeing it in new campaigns of mine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    -Gez

u can restrict them from building in at export_desc_building.txt by limiting the gauls to wooden walls. and change also at desc_strat all their walls to wooden walls.

What he said, although I'm confident that Gaul doesn't have large stone walls, only normal ones. And that is historically accurate. Also, to my knowledge, only the capitals of the Gauls, Iberians and Dacians start with stone walls.

Hmm wierd...on my Roman campaign, the majority of gallic cities have large stone stone walls :S

Maybe it's a bug or something...I am using the Alex.exe if that changes anything...
