    Default Palestine is a country?

    This is just a very short question of mine...

    As far as i know Palestine is a region and never was a country, am i correct? please dont discuss Israel-Palestine here, just answer my question...

    Yes. It was Roman controlled, then part of the various Muslim and (for a short time) Crusader kingdoms in the area, until the British took it from the Ottomans (IIRC) around WWI I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Then the British gave it to Israel, and we are where we are today...
