Can't start a campaign

i have rtw gold installed (bi) and running it on xp. I uninstalled and deleted everything. the same problem occurs when i try to start any campaign (freezes or boots me out). It says im missing file data/model_strat/rioza_cb_diplomatico.cas (more or less, hard to read my writting). Does this mean i have to create the file? or does this have to do with me selecting the forced diplomacy option prior to installing RS? Would like to play this mod for the first time soon.

There is a Riczu_CB_diplomatico.cas file in the Data\models_strat. If you don't have this have a look elsewhere in your game folder. At a guess you've probably installed to the wrong place (the game folder not the data folder, maybe).

If you are going to report an error message it helps if you get it right. Also don't be so impatient.

I reported the error message more then less accurately and installed it in the correct folder.

If you and your friends are going to add to your rep., make sure it is well deserved

Well, 'more or less accurately' isn't good enough - you clearly had the spelling wrong.

It's you that has the problem not me as I can play RS without a problem (as can many others as Apple has pointed out) - it's up to you to supply information that will help us work out what the problem may be. If you can't be bothered to do this then have fun playing with yourself.

Did you install it on a "clean" Rome total war patched to 1.5?
Thousands have already played Roma Surrectum 1.5 without any problem so it's most likely that you have installed it wrong, not patched your game to 1.5 or your download of the mod was corrupt (not likely).

You had to see the posts that were deleted or merged) before my first post. The first one was a bump and the second one wasn't much better than "if you can't be bothered answering I'll go and play elsewhere" type of message.

Hmm Ive never had that error. Most likely its what everyone else has said. Its either your game meaning RTW or how/where you installed it. Is it patched to 1.5? is RS patched to 1.5? what exe are you using? And just to be an ass Ill say, try getting windows Vista. It works just fine on that lol

Edit - O and Yes I did see what is now deleted and. Its really uncalled for.
