Barren land?

OK i am new to this mod, and well, its great, the skins the music in the battles, everything, but my only question is, why is the land so bare/barren?

I mean, shouldint there be mountains here:\


And the rest of greece does not have any actual mountains either, and sveral other places that should have mountains dont,can someone explainwhy there are no mountains?
Also, can some one post a link to prometheus's cities like in rs,xgm,and eb,

This is not a realistic mod, it is focused on the battles so who cares about the mountains.

A link to what? Why do you want a link to cities of an other mod? I suggest you play an other mod if you want to play a non roman campaign because it will be to easy.

Yes your right this probably was one of the reasons why mountains got removed. Enemies near a mountain would run up to the highest spot thy could get. Very annoying. I believe this was the reason why thy got removed in most places.

Aye mountain battles are usually a big advantage for the player if defending and if not using it the AI is. Looks really wierd the the two armies clash at the mountain side i dont really miss em.

To their detriment, even. In vanilla, I saw the AI waste...and I mean waste...numerical superiority just for a chance to run up those steep grades and play king of the hill.

Most of the setpiece battles of the period took place over reasonably level ground.

Not every Mod has to be realistic,
I think SPQR focuses more on epic battles and the roman faction than the correct position of any greek mountains.

I'd be more concerned about the ships sailing through land between Athens and Naupactus.
