    Default CTD - need help

Im getting a CTD whenever a battle starts in the campaign. Auto resolve works fine as does custom battles.

Anybody know what the problem could be?

I have the medieval total war gold version patched to 1.5 (correct patch) and downloaded the TATW game from filefront.

Am now redownloading TATW and am going to reinstall Kingdoms (without the patch).

METW2 and ETW both work fine...

    Any other ideas?

Is about the third time reinstalling.

Am on Vista btw with 4gb of ram, quad core processor and a ati 4870

ive reinstalled, updated gfx drivers and this time i did not patch kingdoms (left it at 1.4)

Played for about a hour as isengard, and allowed all my cities to get sieged, the battles worked fine somehow.

I did however not manage to test sieging somebody else... but it looks like a combination of download TATW and reinstalling completely has fixed the problem
Land battles and siege defences worked.

Just need to try out sieging someone
