Default Need some help w/ Kingdoms

    Hi all,

I got Kingdoms yesterday (bit late, but hey) and I'm having serious issues installing it. The current problem is that it can't find MTW2, which is installed on an external hard drive (obviously I turn the hard drive on when I try to install Kingdoms). I'm trying to patch the version up to 1.02 and it just says it can't find it.

I tried re-installing it on C drive and my MTW2 disk gives the error 'error: cyclic redundancy (data 1)' and won't install...although I can run the game from that disk (since it's installed on the external hard drive).

This is really frustrating me as I don't know how to get kingdoms to recognise MTW2 on the external HD. There was also another problem of me downloading 1.02 and then trying to run it in the external HD and it quit after starting saying 'error: unknown error'. I've never had this much trouble trying to install an expansion! I hope I'm not covering old ground (though I most likely am) and that someone might be able to help.

    Thanks in advance!

(running it on XP SP 2 btw)

    'error: cyclic redundancy (data 1)'
This usually indicates that the data cannot be read, meaning the disk\data is damaged. Sometimes you are lucky and can copy the whole disk to your hard drive and run it from there.
