formatted kingdoms expaned text?

I need a formatted version of the crusades expanded text so I can add the county of tripoli, if there is a converter please help!

Most of the python programs here are written for python 2.6 - they don't work with the latest 3.1 version; I re-installed 2.6 myself.
You should be able to get an older version from the python site.

I have 2.5, but my computer won't let me set python as a program to run PY files. so i'm just stuck in park.

Right click the file, choose 'open with', search for the python executable and make sure the tick mark is on 'always open with..'

If that doesn't work, use the BinEditor that comes with the latest Geomod Tool version (0.3.6)

sorry, um I know how to do that, and even when i double click the bat. file it tells me too choose a default program, I find python, click it, and the window dies. it's very frustrating

Try to update to 2.6.2, it automatically associates PY files - at least it did on my machine.

The exe to use is not "w9xpopen" - it is "python" in the same directory.

Mine is set to be associated with that file and works perfect. May I suggest you try to install version 2.6.2 from my link above? It appears your installation maybe corrupt.

I did install from the link. vista just has this thing where it won't use files downloaded off the internet. (except for the milkshape full version) it's very annoying

just get the bin editor that comes with Geomod or ask a friend like Nakharar to send you the text files on MSN

It looks as if you do not have full administrator rights. That would explain all your problems.

OMG,I feel really stupid now. that thing in GEOMOD was an editor, all i had to do was export it as a txt file, open it with Notepad (not wordpad), save it, and it removed all the spaces
but, if the files havee been converted and crap, doesn't that modify them?? (just an honest question Squid.)
