    Default merging units.. grr

    Hi,

So say i have 3 units (cavalry) and after a battle 10 are left from each division. After the battle they all merge into one. How do i disable this so i can still keep 3 divisions of cavalry with 10 units?

You're not. As far as I know it's hardcoded.

That is rather curious. I never had the game merging units for me automatically.

After a battle either of the following can happen:
    a) the unit gets disbanded if it's strength falls below a certain percentage of it's original strength (15 or 20% I believe).
    b) the unit remains with the total that gets displayed in the battle summary screen on the far right.

You can now merge units in two ways:
    1) Automatically by pressing Ctrl+M (doesn't always work)
    2) Manually by dragging the icons on top of each other

Else you can retrain them in the next settlement that can recruit them, disband them yourself or generally leave them to rot.

Could this be an option in the preferences?
It never happened to me either, I kinnda dislike it for not being automatic sometimes, when i remain with 58 and 67 out of 75, and i like having my troops to full number so i know wich to retrain, but it could (is) annoying if u lose so much experienced cavalary like that :/

Might be some option, can't tell...
