OVER RAISED LAND

I noticed that next to a multiple different cities, including the High elves capital that if you go into battle in a certain square, the land is raised up about 300 feet and the land is obstructed. Not only that but there will be a 300 foot piece of land that will have a strait down drop onto the bridge and will do the very same thing on the other side. If any one else is having this problem please say so. and comment to see if there is any way to fix the problem. i will see if i can provide images and if any one else has images of the same problem or a similar problem that would be great too =D
