Are there any mods that reduce the territorial expansion penalty?

I'd like to keep good relations with certain factions, but it's almost impossible to do so because of the massive territorial expansion penalty. I'm playing as Russia and have only taken about six regions, and already most countries hate me. Are there any mods that reduce or get rid of this penalty?

Sadly, it's not possible to modify these values, that I know of.

I reduced the penalty if you want I can upload a mod file for you to load.

That'd be great. But how were you able to reduce it? The other guy said that the value couldn't be modified.

is it also possible to reduce the administration cost to? so that you can have a big empire ?

What about if you double the revenue produced by all buildings?

the "administration cost" is fully modable (in the db/campaign_variables_table called tax_efficiency_xxx - five values to mod to your hearts desire)

Haven't found the territorial expansion penalty yet but reckon it's in the db section somewhere..
You can counter-act the 'hate' by state gifts. I always try to keep larger factions 'non-hatefull' towards me (and also minors with large navies .. need those trade routes open

)

to reduce or get rid of territorial expansion open up your save game with esf editor then go into campaign_env/campaign_model/world/faction_array/faction_array now choose the faction that is giving you problems under faction array. after you've found the faction you're having probelms with its faction/diplomacy manager/diplomacy_relationships_array. here is where it gets very tedious you have to find your faction in diplomacy_relationships_array by opening up diplomacy_relationship_attitudes_array. scroll down to the thirteenth diplomacy_relationship_attitudes_array and if the second number from the top corresponds with your territorial expansion number then that is your faction and you can just put a zero in to get rid of it. but this doesn't remove territorial expansion from the game it will only temporarily get rid of it

Sorry to revive a half year old topic, but the 1.5 patch appeared to have increased the penalties for Territorial Expansion. Has anyone found a way to mod this that they would be willing to share?

I'd certainly like to see some options on this. It'd be nice if there was some degradation, or just some way of dealing with it. You should also get a boost to territorial expansion rep anytime you give up a territory.

Also, giving money, territory, and technology ought to help your rep with people.

Yet another revival...

I hate this penalty it drives me crazy and ruins my games. Please oh please won't someone make a simple mod that just removes this territorial penalty or nerf it to hell and away at least.
