    Default Galadhrim sub mod

    Hello, for those of you who cant wait for the next release when the galahdrim may be release ( hope i worded that right :S ) i thought id share this with you. It seperates lorien from the Silvan Elves with only a couple of bugs;

    - for some reason i cant seem to get the elven textures for the generals and the catapult and ballista crewfor lorien so they are all bright white on the battle field. (if anyone knows why this isnt working please tell me )
    - the generals dont say anything on the campaign map ( cant work out weather this is good or bad as now theres no "FOR ENGLAND SIRE"
    - the intro and symbol on the faction selection screen is that of Denmark

    apart from that it all works and has been tested up to 100 turns without anything odd happening.
    NOTE that the folder battle_models.modeldb 2 in unit_models need to be put into unit_models folder not the files that are inside it as the folder wont exist yet. ( not exactly sure why this need to be done but it made the mods work)

    Simply move and replace all the files in the right folders
    Remember to back everything up before you replace all the files

    This need to be installed over a clean version of TATW

    are their any unique units for lorien, or is just silvan units, also did you give them more territory to start?

    I gave the Galadhrim two sindar archers units, making one a bodyguard the other the other are the best units they can recruit, i gave them the noldor light infantry and light archers and the noldor armoured archers (not the eldar) seing as they are armoured in Galadhrim helms, the only unit they have from the Silvan is the horse archers, and Silvan can no longer recruit Sindar archers or light elf archers(some sort of bug wasnt letting me set up 3 textures for the light elf archers) so instead iv taken their protectors of the woodland realms, or somthing like that, and made another unit of them with the same sort of stats as light elf archers. The Galadhrim also have the catapult and the ballista which like i said wont load the textures for some reason. All the units have unique names though . i was going to retexure all of them to give them all a more Lorien feel but i read somwhere that Lorien will be in the next patch, or they are considering it, so i thought id leave it for now.

    Thanks a lot for making this. I tried but failed rather spectacularly. :p

    The descr_win_conditions and descr_strat files need putting inside the imperial_campaign but other than that it looks pretty good.

    Sorry It doesn't work for me. At first I thought it must clash with another mod I put on but just reinstalled third age total war and then put it on and it breaks on startup.

    probably a mistake on my part, il check over it now and put it back up when it works

    OK i'v got it working now, turns out i forgot to put somthing in , feel free to slap me if it dosent though

    It's not working for me.Causes the game to crash at the start.

    none that wernt in the files that i had up, did you like it? was abit of a slap bits and bobs together and hope it works job :S

    I did like it very much but I lost it in the end as it conflicted with too many other mods. Sorry.

    It was very good though and really helped the campaign progression. I can't wait until its in an official release.

    thanks , i agree though it does conflict too much, im not even using it atm :O i did find one thing when i was playing it though, Lorien were super agressive as i forgot to change Denmarks stuff from vanilla, Lorien on mine ended up taking waaay too much

    Ah, I have a problem with OOMM being far too strong in my games, probably due to other changes but I reckon thats why I didn't notice that, as the OOMM kept them in line...
