    Default Year moved backwads

This happened to me a second time: when I clicked the advisor, the calendar moved back 4 years. I'm playing RTR ExRM v3.4. What file is the year stored so I can change it to where it was?

I assume changing it won't cause a problem, since whatever events need to fire by year, already have.

    Thanks in advance

It's not quite that simple. You'd have to actually edit the save file, which is dicey. The script is what makes it change dates, and that's set at the start of the game. Could you tell me more about how the problem arises? When are you clicking on the advisor?

The condition I experienced might be for 2 reasons:

    1) At the time I believe I had taxed my PC to an extreme, which may have tweeked the game. I know that might sound goofy, but after returning from a battle, the entire map was white (on land), like it was winter everywhere. Like a dummy I kept playing, rather that restart. The calendar reversed shortly after that.

    2) When you mentioned the "script", I was assuming it ran itself. But I'm recalling now from somewhere that I might have to activate it? Do I have to click the advisor after every turn?

Also, I know about: never start a new campaign, if you are already playing one, as the year won't calc correctly.

    Thanks for your help

No, only after you start a campaign or when you load a saved game.

That is not true AFAIK. Problems with dates occur in ExRM when you exit a campaign which was using the script and you didn't disable it and then load or start a campaign and try to use the script again.
