Here grenadier horse guards ran round the back to finish off Courland. But, they are not so good at throwing. Most of the grenades blow up in their ranks. Maybe because I had two regiments mingled in together.

I liked this picture because the enemy actually sneeked this unit past my lines and shot from behind!
In this battle i am the french and here i am defending the last territory of the prussians! since they were my protectorate I decided to invade and give the land backs to the Prussians!
Here are my troops linned up ready for action!

Here I decided to go with a big line of infantry in order to exploit my gunpowder to the maximum!

Here I let my canons fire in order to get the most kills before my infantry entered the combat!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I told my canons to fire at the horses first because since my strategy was of a single line if the AI directed a charge in one fo my flanks it would of crushed my forces! So my canons destroyed the Horses!

I sent my calvary first to destroy the long ranged light infantry in order for my line infantry to destroy the rest of the enemies forces easier!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
After my calvary was done with the light infantry I went around and destroyed the canons!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Ai advanced in two lines which was a bad mistake since it was easier to kill with the canons!

And that is how france saved the prussians from being completely destroyed by a sucessful Polish lithuanian campaign!
OK, here are my first attempts at some screenshots. This was during my game where I was playing as the Dutch with my Brittish ally fighting the French. I took as many as I could before it somehow crashed...

A People, but a Nation? A Louisiana AAR [Startpos mod] (updated June 13)
So I think to myself, why not try another continent for a change? Why not play the thirteen colonies too see if I can get a little variety in my gameplay? And what happens?

The first time I ever notice a naval invasions and it's halfway across the globe. And not just once but twice. Oh well, it's nice too see the nations interacting with each other. I even noticed that some of them had made peace with each other and both Hessen, Punjabi and Greece emerged during the short time I played. Even Prussia was destroyed and later re-emerged. Big shifts in power and the only thing I can do I is sit and watch, waiting for the Iroquois and Cherokees to gather that half a stack is more than enough to finish me off, region by region.

Yes, a good map. I took France reluctantly because it seems ahistorical. it's just that they declared on me and then left Paris undefended and it was too tempting, and I knew they would just harass me for decades.
With hard TI prefs I have needed a full army there for about a decade and it's still there, but it's worth it.
Here's the updated map
Big Austria , Marathas are attacking Ottomans. Bavaria still strong , Poland dead.

I mean no offence, but the flags look kinda cartoony. I still like this model.
mine again:

No offence was taken dude. No worries.
Well I tryed to get as close as possible to the original (Historicaly) Flags. I too like Spanky's Flags, But they are quite ahistorical plus with the displacement (waves), he used it is very hard to do an fluid animation. (Yes mine are animated ) So the cartoonish look for example of the Prussian one is indeed historicaly correct. Also the much brighter color of the Polish flag, the "not so Gold" color and smaller eagle on the russish and so on.
Nontheless, Spankys flags are awesome.
cheers
EDIT: I'dd like to add, that the Spanish flags will be reworked at a point. They are almost vanila. Only added yelow color to the new-spain Flag.
Just a random shot I like
