    Default Unit Descriptions

We need a volunteer to take over getting the unit descriptions for RS2. This project has really been stalled and I would like someone to take over making sure they are entered into 'export_units.txt', and edited for spelling and grammer. The lucky winner of this project need not come up with the descriptions, just make sure that they are entered, updated, and that units that don't have descriptions are constantly brought to the attention of team members with a ball peen hammer if necessary.

I would say 'most' descriptions are in place.....but many are still wrong or missing. And yes, grammar and spelling should be checked for all. We'll help you with anything you have a problem with....and there is a thread in the DEV2 forum for unit descriptions. There is also the Unit descriptions thread here in the Beta forum where they are reported as wrong or missing.

It won't be as much of a job as you think...because a LOT is done.....it just needs some TLC and finishing.

Primary Armor = Metal\nHardy\n\nThe Massilian hoplites are drawn from amongst the allied areas of the Independent Greek Cities. They fight for Massilia and are proud to do so. Among the ranks of these men are not only Greeks, but also some of the native Celts who have adopted Greek culture.\n\nThey bear the Triskelion, a symbol associated with Greek culture.

    These:

    \n = one space down
    \n\n = two spaces down

The game reads them as an enter key, or two enter keys.

As far as where you'll find the missing descriptions, you need to be in the DEV2 forum to carry on this business. There is a unit description thread in there.
