    Can you post an alternative link PLEASE? For some reason I can't connect to filefrotn. I get Page Load Error every time.

    EDIT: Never mind I got it downloading now!

    Are there any files in this mod that can conflict with other mods? For example, Point Blank's Real Combat?
    If I can't cheat, how will I get through school???

    It should be okay! As far as I know and have seen, this Visual Enhancement package only modifies the visual aspects of the mod (pictures and unit cards and such), and includes a couple little submods that add/change name lists (for generals, family tree, etc.) and another that makes generals age properly.

    So in SHORT , you shouldn't have any problem, as this is mostly visual changes as well as rewriting a bit of text info and such, while Real Combat strictly modifies the EDU and deals with unit balance and combat.

    EDIT: Bloody hell, completely forgot to mention the actual mod! All of this is brilliant work Louis Lux! It adds all the little details that everyone was clamoring for, great job! I'll be downloading it shortly, thanks again for your work in Third Age and for continuing it!

    Yes, I have barely touched the orc culture, I promise I'll give more attention to them from now on. Xerxes face is too welll know, I prefer to use faces that are not too recognizable (specially for me since xerxes is a famous actor here in Brazil)

    It's not compatible with mods that change descr_strat like Mune's.

    Thank you KK, you are welcomed to use the new portraits and event pictures in the next release.
    -I'm still using the old splash screen, I'll change it as soon as possible.
    -I'm using Hyperion reworked names, I will ask him about the file.


    D_A you can always extract it to your desktop and delete the loading screen folder and any other you don't want to change and then overwrite the mods folder in your medieval II folder.

    hmm dam i had your visual enhancements mod .03 back in version 1 tatw with rc as you gave a non descr_strat file option any chance of overing the same again ?? i was a huge fan of the little 2d art work touches you did just adds a little more imersion to the flavour always a mood killer seeing a vanilla event they have done such an awesome job with TATW this just adds that little cherry on top

    So, backing to my issue, this .string.bin file isn't in this Visual_enhancement_04.rar file, right??
    Could Beregond problem be because of this "missing" .strin.bin file??

    I just downloaded this new file and I have your old one installed, my question is, can I just install over it??

    You tell me, if there is something you wish to do I can assist you. For now I have no need for aged portraits because I haven't done any new portraits for Northmen and Gondor.

    The missing file is possibly what's causing the problem, it doesn't happen with everyone for some reason, if I'm unable to solve the problem I will release an alternative version like last time.
    And yes you can overwrite the previous version.

    Nice thing. One question though (suffer my ignorance of not reading through 15 pages) - are you working on RC-compatible version? RC already includes Mune's balance I think I just wonder if it would screw up my installation if I copied the files 'just like that' lol ... also, not sure if you could make unit cards (if they are not here already) for Agostino's Additional Units mod and these fine retextured Gondor Militia out there? Lol, maybe I ask too much but when I look at these lovely pictures I can't stop myself from praising the work done.

    You could have just looked in this page, axnsan said that it is compatible with RC since we both use proper aging generals sub mod. And Mune's campaign balance is not listed in the RC included mods. Our focus is on unmodified Third Age, when we have more things completed will think about contributing to other popular sub mods.

    Hello,Louis! I really like all these pictures,they add much flavour to TATW!

    Though I've got a problem with descr_strat
    Every time I use yours I can't start any new campaign,it just returns me to prewious menu First I've changed my file manually,then just reinstalled everything and tried to overwrite it with yours,but every time I use file with your changes,the new campaign won't start...
