Things seem to be drifting a bit, which is worrying.
I feel that in order to remain focussed we need to map out the stages and building blocks that need to be in place before we release RS2. Could we all make an effort to put in this thread the stuff that needs to be done to get there, and cross off once complete. maybe put E for essential and D for desired.
I'll start by listing some things:
Campaign map:
Winter textures (E) - MarcelP will work on these
Spies and assassin retextures (D) - ?Tone
Refines coastlines etc - cherryfunk (E)
Map Blocks and dead ends..path problems (E) - I have fixed many of them, but testing and observation will be necessary. Hopefully Cherryfunk?
Problems with Towns\cities having no escape routes (E) - same as above. (I'm aiming for four side excape routes to minimize the chances of CTD's, but not always possible)
Battlemap:
Finish trees (E) - Tone, gennosuke, Leif (Leif is doing a few bushes)
Refine some grasses (E) - Tone
Units:
Unit cards (E) - Leif- just some minor resizing of a few cards left
Finish redoing Roman shields (D) - Pacco
Minor unit glitches: modelling issues etc (E) - Tone
Music:
Done (some more will be added but thats just a bonus of a sort.- Apple, Arn, Elendil of Númenor
Temples:
Done!
Buildings:
New Buildings (D) - progressing, DVK, others doing descriptions or they are done.just need a few more icons
Balancing:
Unit stats and costs, refining recruitment (E) - DVK Faridus Tone
Economic Balanceing (E) - WIP, DVK (it's getting better)
Done!Victory conditions (0-turn) (E) - apple
Victory conditions (Modfoldered) (D) - Just some minor tweaks to the 0-turn one. Will do as soon as the economic system is balanced. - apple
Add to the list please, if you're working on stuff that needs to be in the final release.
