    Default Vanilla trouble

    Hi,

I have been playing mods for a long time, but when I tried to play vanilla again (i had just installed a mod to revamp vanilla) and clicked grand campaign, a sign came up saying "Select something for the list" (or something like that) i then clicked other things and it didn't work either, by the way i installed the mods Grand Faction addon and Grand Unit addon as part of retrofit. Could someone please help?

If the Grand Units Addon mod chnges the vanilla animation files, you won't play vanilla again.

By the looks it was one of your mods that messed it all up.
The best way would be to re-install the mods as well. (That's why I keep all the installers)
Else simply copy the mod folder somewhere else before you uninstall.

but can I uninstall the game medival 2, then reinstall it, and will all my mods still work?

Well depending on some mods they should be there. I mean to uninstall the mods then you need to uninstall it with it's own uninstaller but some mods might get erased if you uninstall Medieval II if you don't move the "mod" folder out of there, I'm not sure if this might cause a problme with uninstaller, doubt it. You can always download the mods again so it's no biggie

Could someone please help me as I have downloaded retrofit before and this is the first time it won't let me run the program just because I have the wrong disc also the picture prooves that I have disc1 inserted in my computer

I don't anything about Gold Edition but isn't Disc 1 medieval2.exe and kingdoms.exe on its own disc?

i have Medival 2 Gold edition, which means it should work from one disc which is disc 1, which I have inside my computer but now whenever I try to play a mod or Kingdoms Tutonic or Crusades it says like in the pictuer i posted above that I have the wrong disc

It say "Original Kigdoms cd/dvd" which means kingdoms.exe. Search your discs for kingdoms.exe and it will play. From what I've read here it's not one disc 1.
