Condoleezza Rice does a Nixon

As Stanford University students grilled former National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice on interrogation decisions pertaining to the Bush-era, the lady blurts out that anything that has the President's sanction is legal. Reminds of a certain Mr Nixon, doesn't it?

To me the Hahaha! moment of the video was when she persisted, "No Dear! You're Wrong! We did not torture anyone." I mean, who would believe that!!

Hardly surprising, given the Bush administration attempts to redefine what constituted torture in order to get confessions out of innocent cap drivers.

Completely offtopic, but do you get money from hits on that website or something?

I fail to se what the excitement is regarding this video. Somebody will need to point out in transcript format the words that seem so exciting. She was careful and backed all points up with a reference point. She did not say "taht anything that the President sanctions is legal". What a bunch of whooey.

To me, anyone that does a Nixon would be someone who actually forms a treaty pact with Iran at the absolute risk of his/her political career. So far, no one in the US has that type of guts.
