    Default Later BC 15-16 Century

Hello team, first post, new to all this, waiting for 1.5 to begin BC so this may be a little left field....I would love to play around in the Orient in the 15-16 Centuries(M2TW carries to mid-16 Century).I know we change history, but this was a dynamic era, when Tamurlane smashed the Ottomans, who rebounded to conquer Constantinople, then the Mamluks, while Babur established the Mughals in India.....firearms and cannon always give a bang to a battle....My hoped for twist would be to bring Venice into the mix through Cyprus(Lusignan Cyprus would be a great Outremer faction,Venetian from late 15 Century). We would have beautiful late Italianate knights riding over Turks,Mamluks,Timurids, with stradiots, late crossbowmen, gunners, artillery, naval stategy....it would really throw The Cat amongst the...Persians.It would be very cool(something for 2.0,perhaps?).All aboard?

Not guna happen. I can't say its not an interesting time period but 2.0 if still on has allot of other things already to do and needs all the unit, faction, and space it can get. Even if it was done in say another mod with a separate install the work would entail it being like 3.0 which is way WAY out there ATM. I think the best well get is the emergence of some of these faction in 15th century and that's if work is continued for 2.0. And kinda hybrid factions like the Turks later ottoman ATM.

If things change it might have a small chance but ATM its not guna happen sorry.

Yea, sorry not going to happen. All the ideas for mods, in every field are good, but there are not enough skilled men to do it..

    Wellcome to the forum.
We would not bring the mod into that age, regardless of the level of work required. 1400 is already pushing the limit as it is.
