Breaking Bad (TV show)

Awesome show. Pretty much unheard of so I wanted to bring it to your attention because the more people that watch the better chance they continue it. I'm selfish like that.

To sum it up briefly: Main character is a high school chemistry teacher who gets diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He does not have medical insurance and does not want to burden his family with medical bills so he gets the brilliant idea to start cooking meth. Turns out his chemistry knowledge leads to some finely crafted meth. Fine crafted meth leads to mo money. Mo money leads to mo problems.

Anyone seen it before?

Nope. I would like to watch it, but it is on while I am leaving for work.

It won a Peabody and Cranston won an Emmy and it's already been picked up for another season by AMC.

That said it's highly overrated, I'm not going to deconstruct the whole show because nobody is going to read this but for example "Hank" the DEA agent is ing brutal. He's the worst cop stereotype I have ever seen on TV (granted I don't watch CSI, Bones etc.), it's just pathetic. One-dimensional is too good, he has no dimensions, a flat character that you just won't care about and hope he will go away.

Cranston on the other hand is great and deserves all the praise he is getting, loved him on Malcolm in the Middle and he's the one redeemable quality of this otherwise mediocre show. He carries the thing on his back and makes it watchable.

Anyone see the second to last episode of season 3? (aired sunday 6.6.10) Anyways.... ing awesome ending. Best damn show on television. Its like an HBO series that's airing on AMC.

I watch it every time it's on. Excellent show. Most recent episode was crazy as hell.

Dear God, that was amazing.

Bah, you guys should check out HBO's The Wire which was one of the best tv shows ever.

I can't believed I missed the season finale. I'm gonna watch it online right now

Major: The Wire is a great show, I just recently got into it. But honestly, I'd much rather watch Breaking Bad.
