Default Graphic issues shadows with ATI card.

After this patch I note this,as you see my units now have those huge shadows, this only happens after this patch ,I never had any graphic problem in the previous versions,is just me or somebody else note the same?
I have the last drivers and a ATI 3850,I use to have my shadows in high, now i put then in medium and this still happens.

Yeah, I've seen that a few times. Usually during the deployment phase, it usually goes away after a few seconds for me at least. I do have another issue with the shadows though. They look great until I move the camera so it's either pointing directly towards or away from the sun. Then they suddenly turn into a pixellated flickering mess.

    Sun angle: http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/8342/shadow1.jpg

Doesn't look so bad there, but in motion they "flicker" like crazy and look especially bad when the camera's zoomed out. Using a 4870 1GB here.

    had that problem once, too.

But I am using a nvidia-Card, so I guess it had nothing to do with your card's manufacturer. But I never had it that strong :/

Look down to the ground and look up again. It helped for me.

Uhm which version of the display and catalyst drivers are you using?

Shadows look absolute guff on my HD3850 irrespective of settings. I turned them off.

I'm on a 4870X2 and I have NOT experienced this issue yet.
This is with Catalyst 9.5 Beta but I did not experience the issue with 9.4 either.

My 4870x2 with 9.2 drivers has this shadow issue also since the patch last night... Its not really a deal breaker so I haven't said anything about it.

    Maybe newer drivers would help?

I think something is wrong with that patch, the textures of the campaign map ships are dissapeared in my own game

I have this issue and posted on it.

I found that turning off Hardware Shadows clears up the issue (For me anyway).
The trouble is I want to use Hardware Shadows...

Default New Graphic bug since last patch.

I have not changed any settings or drivers, and I have not had any graphics issues prior to the patch.

I am using a single GTS 280 (EVGA) GPU.
    Drivers 182.50
I am not over clocking my card. All settings are and have been default.

    Game
    V1.2.0
    Build 1060.42666
I do not have any mods installed.

    Since the last patch.

After trying different things it seems the "Hardware Shadows" Option is linked to this issue.
When I turn ON Hardware Shadows (Check in the box) I get the strange shadow issue observed in the attached screen shots.

When I turn OFF the Hardware Shadows option (No check in the box) The effect is gone.

The below screens were taken from a "Single Player" "Battle" Map Caucasus. Midday. However it seems to be present regardless of the map or time of day.
    Here is the issue.
