How to unlock Apachean Units

Im playing as the Apachean tribes in the Americas Campaign.
I can't seem to unlock anything.
I read all over the net and it doesnt help.
IT said recruit 50 missles and 15 settlements to get Kotsenko or something.(12 Dmg missles!)

Does that mean 50 total and you can disband them after? or get 50 units and take settlement? or recruit 50 and keep 50 and have 15 settlements? IM SO CONFUSED

And it says to kill gunpowder units to unlock em.
So i have to all the way east or south to spain or france and kill them?

The Apachean Tribes are master of copying other factions abilities like indeed Gunpowder but also Horseunits. Just think a little logicaly when you're going to play with the Apachean tribes and you want gunpowder units, you first need to steal it from them. I don't know for sure but I think that if you want an army of 50 gunpowder units you first need to kill 50 gunpowder units of the enemy, but i don't know if that's true, never played with the appachean tribes only the Mayans and Aztecs.
