    Default Patched to 1.2 + and unable to load game

    So yeah, I just left my computer on all night to download patch 1.2 and now the game is spitting "M2TW has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit" at me whenever I try to load. And yes I restarted the computer. The patch was downloaded from strategy informer as linked by TWC. I have Kingdoms but wasn't sure about whether or not it would patch the game for me (I know it will now)... Sooo...

    Do I need to reinstall (d'oh).. Should I just install Kingdoms? Or is there another way to solve this problem. Any help much appreciated

    The most trouble free way is to totally uninstall and reinstall and let Kingdoms install the patches for you.

    Cheers for that. I suspected as much. I've always had problems patching TW games. Thanks anyway, I shall get right on it.
