    Default Good/Evil mixed settelements???

    I'm right now playing the Dwarves on a Hotseat campaign and I'm trying to take the Grey Mountains... But I noticed the settlement's detail, and about half the culture is dwarven, and the other half is Orc. Is that very reallistic? I would have to imagine, that if the OotMM took a Dwarven settlement, They would probably slaugter the entire populace. And I'm sure if any good-guy faction took an Evil territory, they would probably "cleanse" the area of any filth before settling...

    I think to give tis a more LoTR feel, you should make settlements completely good, or completely evil. This will also put more use and realism into the exterminate populace option already in-game...

    impossible to do since culture is just a reskinned version of religion from M2TW. I completely agree with your idea though. I doubt dwarves and orcs would get along too well

    You could always roleplay it that certain disorganised orcish populations/ bands are roaming around in the province and it takes a slow proccess to completely drive em away, since you can't really avoid it.
    Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they are in good company.

    That is quite the Idea..... Use your, "IMAGINATION", lol!!! But can't you set up what the stats on what religion is in a province??? Can't you do the same with culture then?

    Well if you use your imagination enough you could turn a stick, a pebble, and a crumbled sheet of paper into tools for the destruction of humanity; just don't expect the REST of humanity to roleplay along with you.

    I don't see that info as representing orcs and dwarves living side by side in the settlement, but what the population of the region is. of course orcs could not destroy every single dwarf in a region overnight, but have to breed them out. so i think it's cool

    I don't think it's a matter of using your imagination. Do you think all the orcs in the area would just line up for the chopping block? No, they would hide in every single cave, forest... whatever. It's not realistic to think that when you take the town in the middle of an area that only represents 1/10 or less of the area that makes up the settlement, that you can immediately kill off all the existing populace. There will be hold-outs, but over time, you slowly root out the remnants and kill them off, which is exactly what happens.

    Yeah, I guess what you guys say makes sense... Even though it would still be cool to line orcs up to a guillitine, LOL...
