But Gondor-Rohan and Gondor-Arnor alliances are set as unbreakable, the only alliances that should be unbreakable I think are the High-Silvan Elves for their incorruptible nature and Mordor-Misty Mountains-Gundabad because the last three are completely under the will of the Dark Lord.
And also I think that isn't impossible an alliance between a mannish previously "good" faction and a orc like Rhudaur-Angmar.
But maybe you want to create a mod that is heavily influenced by the events of the ring's war rather one that take in account the whole Lore.

Yea I know that. The point is I'm not feel bad because some allies betray me and take my settlements, but when I must counter-attack them. I know it's silly but I really sad when I must kill a hero I like in the movies and the books. Games enable people live in the world they want to live, do what they want to do, and I dream that I'm Aragorn, Faramir, Legolas, Eomer... and save the world
. I play game to relax and "live in my dreams", so... However, this is just a sub-mod, so if you don't like it, you can play the original mod.
as explained in the first post and several others, these are not starting alliances, these are the attitudes once th alliance is made, therefore war is possible between Gondor and Rohan as AI prior to the alliance, and also possible if one is human player at any time always!
Also consider that AI Gondor/Harad will become neutral if war is stagnant and not volatile, once the war ends they may b allies too, and if one is human played an alliance is easy if you make the other like the offer.
I do not agree an orc/Roan, orc/Gondor, orc/eriador, orc/arnor, orc/dale alliance is lore based, so they are ruled out. But if there was a Dunland faction, well they may be interested in an orc alliance against Rohan or Gondor to reclaim their ancestoral home.
Please feel free to advise your ideas in a graph representation as i have done so i cn fully understand your ideas - so far it sounds lie you prefer TOTAL WAR rules were anything is possible and evil can be turned good vice versa.

Your version is better than the TATW vanilla: simply I'm saying that is too strictly connected with the ring's war and that maybe giving more freedom to some factions regarding alliances without breaking heavily the lore can add more fun because maybe some players will enjoy a little more variety in alliances.![]()
Can you revoke the alliance and then attack?

I really appreciate your work and I like this mod but when I was playing Gondor campaign SE started war with Rohan and I had to choose between two of them cause they were my allies. Of course I send emissary to make a new allience with SE and finish this foolish war. Any idea why that happened?
Indeed it is possible, can you confirm that the Silvan Elves built up military power, were not allied to Rohan, if so they saw a weak target and invaded!
They must have been already warring with their prefered targets and still felt they were strong enough to attack and invade Rohan.
My invade decisions did not eliminate this possibility, only reduced the likelihood Rohan would be a target.
Can you tell us how the campaign was going? what turn you were up to? maybe provide a minimap pic to give us an idea of the lands each faction owns?
Again, i need to stress, the only UNBREAKABLE alliances are the ones i mention in the first post, there are not many of them, and the rest are 'good allies' meaning they need to be allied before they can be good allies. if these factions that can be good allies are still nuetral, then they are an invade target still, just a very unlikely invade target.

Big fan of the mod. Helps out a ton in some logical easy stuff that should have been in the main release of the mod. Now I dont have to worry about my supposably loyal ally trying to steal my cities and some actual priority put on fighting certain factions we should logicly fight. Great job mate![]()
where are the files to download? I do not see the download link.
Presumably the attachment is removed from the OP because the content is already found in TATW (in the OP it's noted a version of this very mod was included already in TATW 1.1).
At any rate, this mod is for TATW 2.1, so unless you play that old version or intend to compair the codes yourself, this mod would be of no use to you.
If you still desire it, you may have to wait a long time, just so you know: Archaon has not been active for 1½ years.

This is not fully included in tatw, just the lightweight version. I do believe it is fully in DAC and/or MOS though.
