As Spartan198 said, it didn't exist in the 6th-5th century BC, which I think is the timeframe in which the mod is set. Megalopolis was founded only in the sixties of the 4th century, after the end of the Spartan hegemony and the rise of Thebes.

Yes, it only came to be when the Thebans beated the Spartans and created the city to lessen the chance of Sparta rising again.
They only rised again under Cleomenes III when he reformed Sparta to be more like the old Sparta. Only to be beaten at Sellasia, out of 6000 Spartans only 200 survived that battle, the rest fighting to the death. I consider it the last true battle of Sparta, afterwards it just became corrupt again and nothing like it was before.

I don't post it to rep me my friend...it is my pleasure to saw to everyone who don't know about Greece some things...btw,the part on map from Astros to Leonidio has a great sea for swimming and sports,i go there with my family for vacations...
Important assets are all the guys who like this mod and support it and all mates who spends and keep spending their free time to finish it...like you my friend...Well thats why Starlight is an important asset to the modding team

Greek seems like a really nice language to me, will probably learn it one day. Definately planning on having future vacations in Greece though
