So if you didn't know I'm an alcoholic whos been sober the past couple of years. Past few weeks I have been drinking more and more heavily though and I can't see good things in the future. I would love to continue working on this but at the moment I just dont really see how it's possible when in most of my free time I am either drinking or hiding the fact I've been drinking.

So i'll see you all around. If I do say anything while drunk, please forgive me. With Gods heklp I'll pull through this again.

As a smoker....I understand your pain. We all do or eventually do carry our burdens...some heavier than others. Just remember, it is not necessary to carry it alone.

I join my mates here and i also think you have done the first very important step you know about your problem and you don't like the current condition really.

I admire you lay it open here, you can see you aren't alone.
Because talking about it can be very helpful especially if you can see we all have our demons (i hate dentists it comes surely by a childhood trauma - my mother told me during my first visit i have closed my mouth and he drilled me in my tongue. During my second visit i was running away my mother from the dental office.).
I don't know as agnostic GOD will help you but the church has some professional help here and there exist surely in your neighborhood other help (Alcoholics Anonymous).

Thanks guys. I honestly don't remember making this thread and have been too embarrassed to say anything in it since I saw it. Last time I went down this road I did some pretty major damage to myself and ended up back in rehab. Trying my best to not do that again - it's like a long campaign in RTW. Sometimes you win some amazing victories and it looks like you're unstoppable. Then suddenly the hordes are pouring into your empire and every battle ends with defeat. Just got to try and not let too much damage happen until I get back on track. I've been an alcy for more than 10 years, closer to 15 so this isn't new to me. Having people I speak to on the internet is a relatively new part of the whole 'support network' thing though, I guess that's why I find it easier spilling my guts here than at an AA meeting.
