I recently took on an army belonging to the Barbary states in northern Lybia and was surprised at how many stone walls and fences there was. It's really frustrating to have my cavalry hindered by such an illogical obstical; all momentum and power is robbed from my charges by these bloody fences!I mean really, who on earth would fence off field-sized parts of the desert with wooden pickets? The land is worthless (Commercially and Agriculurally) strategically it's worth quite a bit, but thats what forts are for, fences do nothing. Desert warfare is based on mobility, the naturally featurless landscape of the Sahara is ideal for cavalry and outflanking manouvers, even Rommel and Montys' tanks didnt have to contend with stone walls!
It's not just north Africa, the same thing occures on the russian steppe. Fences are ruining the game!
Plz tell me there's there a way to remove Fences in the arid parts of the campaign map.![]()
