    i jus wondering whays the maxinum numbers of ancillaries characters a fraction general can have??

    How are they assigned? For example, I have a few mining engineers, are these always assigned to characters in cities with mines? I notice that some characters are assigned to governors and some to generals with obvious reason, but some aren't so apparent - chirugeons frequently seem to be assigned to governors when it might make more sense to be to generals?

    On an unrelated question, is there any way to make diplomats follow a path? Say I want to send one up around the Baltic and down to Parthia finding every capital along the way, you have to guess where they are unless you happen to come across a road, it would be nice to be able to send them searching for capital cities? I suspect the answer is no, just curious.

    Yeah, you can't make diplomats do that. But once you've played a few campaigns you know where all the cities are anyway, and the AI rarely changes its capital.

    As for ancillaries, there are a few triggers, and if they are fulfilled there is a random chance that the charaacter will get the ancillary. For instance, to get Intrepid Explorer, you need to be in foreign lands and have less than 15% of your movement points left.
    Protein cores made in the rough endoplasmic reticulum are posttranslationally modified by glycosyltransferases in the Golgi apparatus, where GAG disaccharides are added to protein cores to yield proteoglycans; the exception is hyaluronan, which is uniquely synthesized without a protein core and is "spun out" by enzymes at cell surfaces directly into the extracellular space.
