Legalize Marijuana in USA?

Do you think it should be legalized? If so, then why? If not, then explain.

I personally believe right now it would be a good decision, in the economical state the country is in right now. But then again, it has its pro's and con's.....

Definitely, initially the use would go up, but in the end it would return to normal or decline since it no longer had that forbidden appeal.

if I have to say it once, if I have to say it a thousand times, YES. Historically it was only illegalized in the past century. No reason to bash on our ancestors' idea of a good time.

Well, maybe it could be legalized, but heavily taxed.

And maybe it wouldnt be over-the-counter type drugs.

I said it should be legal but I also think there should be no direct cost to the government for making it legal via health care, and yes I think that should apply to alcohol and smoking and even diet as well.

That still doesn't mean I think pot smoking is in any way useful. It tends to make people lazy and unreliable in chronic users (no pun intended) and has most of the negative effects of smoking to boot.

At least with cocaine you get stuff done
