Well then how are you supposed to kill Mordor if they have a settlement that can't be seen? Its part of a few faction's win conditions...

Sauron counts as a separate "faction", something like the Papal States if I understand correctly.

That settlement is the one for the massive province in the north. Its locked behind mountains to stop anybody from invading it.

No, the are two up there. the one on the right is saurons factions so no one can reach him. The one on the left is their so that no one can invade the northmost province.

The Sauron faction is like the Pope he calls a Crusades called "Invasion".
Playing as Rohan an Invasion was called against Edoras, both Mordor and Harad joined but failed

Alright, I tried to invade Suaron's capital. Take my advice, don't do it. When you kill Sauron (who has the battle map image of a Papal Bodyguard unit) your game will crash on the next turn.

But our friend is quite young, 18 years.
