    Default Quick Question

Not sure if I am allowed to post this here, i'm sure a mod will move it someplace else if it is wrong.

Can I download EB over vanilla RTW which has already got a mod foldered mod?

I have vanilla rtw with mod foldered XGM, if I download this over my RTW location will it overwrite XGM?

As long as XGM is fully modfoldered you should be fine. As far as I'm aware Roma Surrectum is the only major mod that conflicts with EB, I could be wrong though.

If XGM uses -mod switch in its shortcut, you should be fine.

    No, you don't lose vanilla.

All mod-foldered mods can be played next to vanilla (and mostly next to each other too) on the same install.

    I am installing v1.1..

Just downlaoded the mod and now I have to install but it says that it is not reccommended that I overwrite my RTW in my program files.. what does this mean and where should I install it?

I got that message too, although I chose to ignore it. I've installed EB 2 times, and both have been fine even though I installed into program files. I think it's just a warning to ensure you know where EB is going, i.e. to let you know it could mess with original RTW files. Although EB does not overwrite any original RTW files, I guess the warning is just for safety. I would go ahead and install, as I've never had problems. But I'm not claiming to know this as definite.

IIRC, it's a warning because Vista in particular can mess with things in the Program Files folder, so it's recommended Rome (and EB) be put somewhere else.
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.
