Help me pick a certain type of movie

Well I've had my ps3 for about 1-2 years and this year I got a new tv 1650x1050 pixels and so i wanted to get a blu-ray film to see what its like sound and picture wise, i'm looking for a film action orientated with war something ivolving special forces prefabley S.A.S or a great air combat dogfighting film I aint bothered about the age of the film anyway thanks.

You viewing on 1080p? Something I watched earlier with your prefence... Saving Private Ryan?, if you're able to get a copy of that on Blue Ray then it'll be pretty kick ass.

I've got that too on DVD and it's actually 1050 pixel and so my ps3 uses 720p during films although it says 1080 during the film and my monitor says 1050p so i dont know how that works.

Star Wars Episode 3. It's not your traditional war scenario but the battle scenes are amazing.

It's new, so it'll really take advantage of picture and sound improvements, it's got war and stuff and it's kinda semi-special forces, like not really but on the way.

Buy Once Upon a Time in the West. It's the second best western after The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, at least according to IMDb, and my opinion of course. I know these are fairly old movies, but they're classics, and the visuals are actually great quality for their time. Check my signature if you want to see a scene from it.

I prefer Django as a western but Once Upon a Time and Good Bad are both very good too.

The Guns Of Navarone fits your description.

Ive seen guns of navarone but I didnt like it and I dont want a western I have already seen the good the bad and the ugly. Is there a film thats like tom clancy's rainbow 6 book or a film like that book.
