Can you update Medieval II: Total War v 1.00 to v 1.2 w/o downloading v 1.1?

Any help would be appreciated! (esp. since Third age total war comes out tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! probably...)

Forget about 1.1 - if you install that patch you can't update any further! That was a bluper from CA. Go straight to 1.2

Crap... if i did install 1.1 should i re-install medieval II?

Uhh so I've got kingdoms installed, and I downloaded the 1.5 patch, then unpacked it using the winRAR thing hit setup.exe then got an error message:
"Error: invalid or missing target C:\ program files\sega\medieval II: total war\mods\americas\packs\localized.pack"
Please help me!

Localized pack error says you downloaded the wrong version. This thing is language and version specific. You cannot mix them. What version of Kingdomds do you have? US? UK? European? Gold? non-Gold? dvd? download?
