    Default problem with adding units in game

    i tried to add some rusichi units in game, i changed descr_units, battle_models and descr_buildings.
    when i start the game i get a log where it says that the game cant find the battle model of a specific unit, i checked the battle_models and it IS there
    can someone help me?

    Did you check the spelling in the modeldb?

    Did you update the serialization number at the top of the modeldb file?

    i changed the serial number, the game crashes again but in the log it doesnt say anything, just that m2 has encounted an uspecified error, i figured it is a problem with the battle_models but i cant find anything

    You have got a number of custom factions in there. For the checker to work I would need a list of the factions as they are in the descr_sm_factions so I can edit the checker.

    You have got a serious formatting issue throughout your whole modeldb file. It is the transition from one unit to the next.

    This goes on through the whole file. I have corrected the beginning few entries and modded the checker for your custom factions. Included is also a formatted modelDB file from Vanilla for reference. That is going to be a long day!

    but that cant be the problem the game worked before i added the kievan (armenia in smfactions) units

    Problem is the checker stops every time he gets that -1 number at the start of the line. Otherwise it could give you errors concerning counts or spelling. If you know when the modeldb worked, then you should check what you added afterward.
    If you figure out a different way to check the modeldb file, let me know.

    Thanks for that info. Just a pity the checker can't ignore that too. Else the error might have been found already.
