Problem with saved games

Hi all,

When I save the game, I come back to the Menu, then I select Continue Campaign and when the game is loading, the loading_screen chance to an other, and then one window say that "Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit" Always with all saves. Do you know the problem?

Please need help, we can't play with any saved game.

What other programs do you have running? Your saved games are being corrupted and you have another program doing it.

Really? anyone, just I play windowed, that's all.

I notice that you're a 2d artist. Do you test your artwork? Do you try to reload a savegame after modifying the files? Some graphic files are not savegame compatible.

No. All changes I made are before start the game, so I can play with all factions but I can play again with that save.

Some changes are not save compatible. To check this, start a new campaign.

Yes we know. We started a new campaign with all factions, then we save the game and when we want to load the save game, during the loading process (when you see the loading_screen) the game produces CTD saying: Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit

Did you check in the log if there where some lines with [error] in it apart from the last line? That might give a clue.

There are no clues at log. I tested text and world folders, and the problem isn't there.
