I used to have this problem but I moved my M2TW folder out of Program Files and it subsided. However, starting again today my M2TW Kingdoms/SS CTDs during the battle loading screen.

Kingdoms/SS as in Stainless Steel? It's their loading screen. Best to talk to them in their forum.

Nah, in both versions, Kingdoms plain and SS.

Did you unpack yesterday? If so you might be user number 1578 that didn't read the ReadME file that comes with the unpacker.

I unpacked a while ago and hunted down and purged the two files that could cause problems, and my CTD issue went away for a while; I have no idea why it's back.
I haven't had this problem for months.
The specific message is that M2TW has encountered an "unspecified error".
