    Default Soldier radius

Would the radius change given to hoplites have the same effect if given to, for example, Roman triarii or legionary cohorts?

Yes, a smaller radius would make them more effective, particularly against phalanx units.

    Indeed.

not quite, it's the amount of room a single soldier takes up. so it does appear to affect the space between men, but really it doesn't.

Can I imagine that like a cube around a man which others cannot enter?

Basically. As I understand it, the radius sets the size of each soldier, and the games engine doesn't allow men to cross each other physically.

It's the circular collision radius, which applies to each instance. If you set this to lower values, it will allow soldiers to fit together much denser in 'tight' situations, it also affects unit cohesion greatly. You should also keep in mind that diameter of a circle is 2 radii, so every tweak will have double the effect.

Can somebody familiar with it point out what I have to change? It seemed like there was a topic here in the XGM forum about it, but I went back around 10 pages and couldn't find it (or skipped it over without realizing).
