Very nice, guys. Ponti, you could try to put the cut out apple on a transparent background (simply go to File -> New and delete the white background layer) but aside from that it's perfectly fine.

I decided to have another go and managed to figure out how to remove the background easily with the colour to alpha function.

Alternatively, you can simply copy-paste your selected object onto any image you want to (such as the original one) and delete all other layers.
