Icon1 The First Triumvirate's XGM Campaign

The members of The First Triumvirate have decided to pick XGM as the base of their next multiplayer campaign. I am asking the for the advise of the creators and the regular members: which faction would be fun for us to play? We already have a Gallic, Carthaginian, Seleucid and Pontic campaign, hence they are not in the poll.

EDIT: we picked the Greek City States, and thanks for your votes. The campaign is up and running here, feel free to stop by and join us:

Well, it is the Extended GREEK Mod!

I suggest Baktria. They're an interesting and challenging experience and definitely a faction I always have fun playing as.

If you like unique experience then go for Baktria, of course.

Greeks, like silentsam said it is extended greek mod. No point having Rome as the other mod is using them.

Don't forget the provincial campaigns; a couple of those provide real challenges.

Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.

Yeah, that's true. The Pergamum campaign in particular is quite challenging, as you start out dead in the sights of TSE.

Trace is fun. Along with Saba. But Bactria beats all of them.

I think it's imperative you use the Greek City States, they have the prettiest units; Athenian and Spartan hoplites and eventually Syracusan hoplites, Hypapists, phalanxes, Thracian mercs, Illyrian Mercs, Massive fight vs Macedon in the beginning...mmmm tasty.

Thanks for your answers so far. I'm sure we'll pick a nice Greek faction. Well, Baktria is going strong and it is a Greek faction indeed, but I don't like to be landlocked. I'm leaning towards the polises.

Well, if you choose Masallia, you sure have plenty of space to move around a bit. Plus they are so much fun to play with. I think Masallia is the best Provincial Campaign XGM has to offer.

I voted Macedon, but GCS or Baktria are great campaigns too.
