Seriously, what is Obama doing funding more resources into this country ?! Atleast bring their nuclear sites under US control. Hope India, Israel & the US have some plan for the worst-case-scenario. This is plain scary !

How would bringing Pakistani nuclear sites under US control help India?

, this does not look good. Why aren't Pakistani soldiers swarming the Buner district? More importantly, how the Hell could Pakistan have allowed the Taliban to get that close to their own capital, the beating heart of their country?

It would be helping the world actually, I really don't want to think about what would happen if the Taliban seized one of those (the nuclear sites).

EDIT: I can't wait 'till the Sultan gets here

Maybe we should have taken up the offer of the Afghan Taliban government to prosecute Bin Laden with international legal teams in a neutrally set up court back in October 2001?

But that would have been boring.

First of all, the Army is full and completly in control of the Nukes. You see they have something called security which means you can't just walk away with nukes.

And if India even dares to set foot in Pakistan they won't even be an India anymore. Too bad that India is so ingrained into hating us, maybe they should focus more on their social issues that try and take us on. Maybe pay attention to your moaist problem before commenting on Pakistan huh? You can't even protect the voters and you're the one telling us? I laugh.

And lastly, whoever told you that Islamabad was the heart of Pakistan is sorely misinformed or is a perosn from Islamabad.

Since you're missinformed, the capital is nothing but government workers, government buildings and more government stuff. It is the heart of Pakistan in Government terms. It is not the heart of Pakistani culture, music, food etc.

And further more trusting a source from India? HAH! I could easily point to a Pakistan biased source that says something bad about india. Thing is that niether the BBC nor any better news sites have reported this trash.

Then should I have called it the 'brain' of Pakistan, since it is the administrative center of the country?

Why? Karachi was the former capital, and it has the same facilities that could just transfer the capital if it becomes too hot there. But since this is Indian newspaper that taking trash, I rather not pay any heed to it.

Hey IndianPrince since your so diehard hating Pakistan, what are you doing to stop moaist from shooting up your voters? Or do you hate Pakistan so much that you'll ignore your own citizens dyings just to get a jab at pakistan?

No, its is the government center of Pakistan and thats it. The brain, in terms of educational and such is far more in other cities than in Islamabad. Islamabad is a fake city so that government officals can have large houses.

Oh I thought they were separate, much like CIA and Pentagon, a sort of at-odds agencies thing.

I read Afghans are confused by America giving some $1bn of funds to Pakistan... which then goes to fund Taliban. They're very confused, and I think we can see why.

Pakistan should either deal with these terrorists or let someone else do it for them ( I hate to say the U.S., but it seems like it will have to be us. Unless India stepped in, but that would probably cause more problems due to the hate in both countries). We can not allow the Taliban to gain so much ground in a country with a nuclear arsenal. Forgot North Korea and Iran for now, we must stop the Taliban before it is too late ( and I expect Pakistan to be at the forefront of this job). Turkish Sultan, I know that you probably know a little more of the situation than I do, but this is still not comfortable, having a radical terrorist group so close to controlling a nuclear weapon. It must be dealt with.

I guess the difference between our countries, Turkish Sultan, is we would not allow a group of well-armed fundamentalist radicals to campaign across our country, much less allow within even 100 miles of our capital. We understand you and India have this pissing contest and that's why you have nuclear weapons, but for god's sake, nations more easily fall from within than from without! The taliban are a far greater threat than India at this point in time because they are threatening your stability, they are threatening your property, and they are threatening to get their hands on the most horrific weapons of mankind. You really need to set priorities because this infighting in your region has always been the death of you. There are times when you need to unite with your enemies to fight a common enemy.

If your government does not respond to this threat, you do realize that it will provoke an extreme response from us western nations and we will do what is necessary to prevent terrorist organizations from attempting to obtain any of your weapons.

Taliban started out as religious students from Pakistan. It seems that they are coming back to their place of origin. It is imperative that they are defeated.
