How long do your campaigns take?

It depends on how each player plays, I'm a slow paced player so it can take me some time. PLayer that blitz should finish a game in less than a week IMO

Game time does not equal real time does not equal time spent per day. I enjoying blitzing, and those campaigns often take months because a) I don't play too frequently and b) I optimize my turns (resulting in very few, but very long turns)

Most of time months but that's because I only play long campaigns and I don't play it every second of my life, I don't like to play the same game for a long time.
I like play medieval 2-8 hours a schoolweek...

depends on short or long campaign, the time you play each day and your overall style of playing total war...

maybe 2 weeks for a long campaign for me and a few days for a short one (I blitz neighboring factions early on, while I slow down later in the game)

I'm a family man with a full time job its hard to find a block of time to play. I've been on the same campaign for months now and the mongols barely arrived (Its SS4.1 so I need to conquer 95 regions and time passes more slowly).

Part of it is that it took me a while to get familiar with the MTW gui so it took a few weeks before I got a good system for going through the agents, buildings, and military efficiently.

Part of it is also that I am doing a lot of micromanagement to pull out victories with my horse archers against bigger armies so my battles can take a very long time.

Part of it is that as the Byzantines I had to be very careful early game so I spent a good amount of time thinking about what moves to make.

I mainly do the Short Campaign or one of the Kingdoms mini games. I can usually finish the game with a leisurely pace of about 8 - 10 hours of game play, but then I am done in 50 - 70 turns or there about.

It dependt how long do you play evry day i guess 3 weeks if you play evry day 4 hours.

Usually takes me a few months to complete a long campaign due to work and mates always dragging me out on weekends

I guess that I blitz, but I've never really thought of it that way. I finished a long campaign as Milan in about 15-18 hours of gameplay. I definately had to biltz at the end though, because the Mongols arrived in my land when I was at 49 provinces, and I had just attacked the pope, so basicly every catholic faction declared war on me.

EDIT: In that campaign, I always auto resolved battles. Now I'm playing the Third Age: Total War, and am taking much more time to fight all my battles.

I've never beaten a campaign (in M2TW) or gotten beyond the year 1150. :/

I normally play long campaigns and try to control everything or at least get to my victory condition. that takes me like a month of on and off playing

It takes me about a month or so. But it really depends how long and how frequent you play, as other have noted.
I once did a Spanish campaign over the weekend. I'm on my 3rd week of my current Venetian Camping.

I blitzed with England to finish my first campaign but now I am slowing down with The Byzantines and I have to say it's more controlled and fun
