Problem I'm having.

The mod sounds great, I've downloaded it and the patch but now I have a problem.

Whenever I run the .exe file and start installing I get a series of messages all saying th same thing but with a different file. What they say is as follows.

Unable to create this file:
Name of the file.

I'm running vista if that's any help and my games are patched to the latest patches and everything. I want to try out the mod but I don't know how to get around this problem.

I'm also running Vista with all the updates up to date.

Is anyone else having this problem? Can someone help?

I had the same problem as you and the fix mentioned at the end of the posted thread worked for me. Give it a shot

it is RTW, just place the RTW folder anywhere, it should work.

I am using vista ultimate, and I currently got 4 copies of rtw on my c drive, not inside the programs folder.

install rtw, patch to 1.5, make as many copies as you like, but keep it out of the programs folder just to make sure. rename the folder to the mods you want to install.

make sure uac is off? it should be, makes your computing life alot easier.
